The Belgian/Flemish government will award
up to 45 scholarships to outstanding Master students for the academic year
2017-2018 (starting September 2017 and finishing September 2018).
The purpose of this scholarship is to
offer outstanding students the opportunity of pursuing an Initial Master degree
at a Belgian/Flemish university. The scholarship will amount to maximum 7.500
euro per academic year and will be awarded for the length of the master
programme (one or two years). This scholarship will not cover all living
expenses which can amount up to 12.000 to 13.000 euro a year.
As our universities do
have a good collaboration, we would like to ask you to communicate this
opportunity to your last year bachelor students or recent graduates who could
be interested in a Master study at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. The
applicant should have a high standard of academic performance and/or potential.
He/she has to meet all academic entrance criteria, including relevant language
requirements, for entering the Master programme in question.
More information about the Initial Master
programmes offered at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and its admission
requirements can be found at http://www.vub.eu

Attached you will find some information
about this scholarship programme and the application form. The application
deadline for the scholarship is 13
